We are delighted to be shortlisted in the One to Watch category at the UK Social Enterprise Awards 2025. Run by Social Enterprise UK, the Awards celebrate the leading lights in our sector, showcasing diversity and impact across 15 categories.
Social enterprises are businesses that trade for a social or environmental purpose, and reinvest at least half their profits to further that mission. There are around 131,000 social enterprises in the UK, employing 2.3 million people, and weโre delighted to be recognised as one of the best in this pioneering business movement.
Circular Design was born from frustration and hope: frustration with how hard it is for charities to access good digital services, and hope that business could be done differently. In less than two years, weโve turned that into a thriving non-profit digital agency, already delivering serious impact – and ready to scale.
At Circular Design, we want to lead by example: proving that a digital agency can thrive while putting people, purpose, and the planet first. We aim to inspire and challenge others in the tech and creative sectors to rethink whatโs possible and redefine how business is done: by hiring refugee talent, embracing circular and sustainable models, and placing ethics at the heart of excellence.
We can’t wait for the awards ceremony at the Queen Elizabeth Hall at Londonโs Southbank Centre on 26 November, when the winners will be revealed. Fingers crossed!
