The Role

As a SEO & Copywriting Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our websites are search-friendly, engaging, and aligned with accessibility best practices. Your work will help organisations reach more people, tell powerful stories, and drive real change. Your core responsibilities include:

SEO

  • Optimise website content, structure, and metadata to improve search engine rankings and organic visibility.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and technical SEO best practices.
  • Monitor and analyse SEO performance, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

Compelling, impactful and accessible copywriting:

  • Craft clear, engaging, and persuasive content for websites, landing pages, blog posts, and social media.
  • Align copy with user needs, brand messaging, and accessibility guidelines.
  • Ensure language is inclusive and resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Use clear, concise, and structured language that enhances user experience for all.

Collaboration & Content Guidance:

  • Work closely with designers, developers, and marketing specialists to ensure content integrates seamlessly with website structures.
  • Provide guidance on SEO and content strategy to help clients and team members improve digital storytelling.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • SEO Expertise: Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and optimisation best practices.
  • Excellent Writing & Editing Skills: Ability to craft compelling, user-friendly, and accessible content.
  • Technical SEO Awareness: Familiarity with structured data, website speed optimisation, and best practices for ranking improvements.
  • Understanding of Accessibility & Readability: Ability (or willingness to learn) to create content that is easy to read and inclusive for all audiences.
  • Collaboration & Adaptability: Experience working with web designers, developers, and marketing teams to align content strategy with digital goals is a plus.
