BAR.

BAR. is a seasonal bar business with roots in Biel, Switzerland, that is committed to sustainable consumption and places particular emphasis on organic and local products in its range. With its upcoming reopening, it was also time to revise and update its outdated website. The business commissioned Circular Design to develop a simple, clear and functional website that not only reflects the values of BAR. but also offers opportunities to get involved.

After discussing with BAR. management, it was clear that we needed a simple and clear structure for the new website that reflected BAR.’s minimalist corporate identity. Our aim was to ensure that the most important information and, above all, the values of BAR., were clearly visible on the homepage. We achieved this through a simple icon design, complemented by subtle animations. In addition, we used tabs to clearly display the various ways of getting involved. With the newsletter function and connection to Mailchimp, visitors also have the opportunity to find out about upcoming events.

The result of our work is a modern, automatically multilingual and simple website in black and white that provides clear and concise information about the philosophy and values behind BAR. At the same time, it highlights the various ways to get involved. Our design creates a direct and appealing presence for visitors who are interested in the project and may also want to get involved.
