The Role

As a Project Manager/Operations Manager, you will oversee and coordinate web design projects on a freelance, project-by-project basis. Your role will ensure that every project runs smoothly, meets client expectations, and delivers on Circular Design’s commitment to quality and purpose.

  • Project Planning: Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Team Coordination: Manage a global team of designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, gathering feedback, and managing expectations.
  • Workflow Management: Streamline processes, implement project management tools, and ensure deliverables are on time and within budget.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the final delivery of web projects to ensure they align with client requirements and Circular Design’s high standards.
  • Problem Solving: Anticipate challenges, address issues proactively, and keep projects on track.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience managing web design or digital projects.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana and Clockify.
  • Basic understanding of UX/UI design and web development processes.
  • A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Passion for sustainability, inclusivity, and social impact.
  • Proficiency in English, additional languages (ideally German) are a plus.
